Gosh... after coming all this way, I hope someone comes to claim me!
Day 1.. I become familiar with the tiny pool they call "Crabby", while Mom & Dad & Suzie cavort in the big pool with Kyle.
They may call the pool "crabby", but nobody's ever called ME that!
and why would they?
Kyle gave me lots of rides in the stroller.
Mostly, though, if I wasn't in the pool, I wanted to walk. Here, Grandma Shirley gives me a hand.
Kyle also has a lot of cool toys!
After a long afternoon of playing, it's time for a nap!
We went and visited Grandma Shirley's house. I enjoyed her Big End...table.
I spent a lot of time in this backpack on Daddy's back. Here we are at Kyle's horse-riding lesson. (That's not Kyle in the background!)
Because of the hot California sun, mommy made me wear a hat. Eventually, I got used to it.
We took a ride on a carousel. I wasn't big enough to get on a horsie yet, but I still enjoyed it.
Standing unsupported is my favorite new trick! Here, Aunt DeeDee spots me, while daddy takes a picture.
The Thursday night tradition: dinner at the Hometown Buffet. Highlight for the kids: the Giant Bee passing out baloons!
On Friday, it was time to visit the tidepools just north of Half Moon Bay.
I guess SOME people got to walk around a lot. I wouldn't know.
Ah! Thanks, Aunt DeeDee!
Thanks, Uncle Karl! Can I go play in the sand with Suzie?
I promise I won't eat too much of it!
After a long morning at the tide pools, it was time for lunch. To pass the time while our table was readied, I did a little "pole dance" for daddy and Grandpa Dick.
Then, at the end of a long day, time to wind down in the pool again.
This shot's blurry, but it was too sweet not to include.
Grandpa Dick brought over an old train that Kyle used to ride a lot. It was pretty fun!
A group picture with Cousin Kyle, Uncle Karl, and Sister Suzie. I just wasn't in the mood.
While mom waited in the security line at the airport, Aunt DeeDee & Cousin Kyle helped Suzie and me to pass the time a little.
I had lots of fun in California...I'm already looking forward to my next trip out. I'll be so much bigger then, and there'll be so much more to do!
